Seattle, which is beginning the transition to Division I this season, opened its 2008 campaign with victories over Cleveland State (1-0) and North Florida (3-0) this weekend to win the UC Irvine College Classic at Anteater Stadium. The Redhawks are coming off a 15-3-1 campaign in which they went 9-0-0 at home.

Chico State finished 8-12-0 last season but is beginning a new chapter this season under Restrepo. The former UC Davis head assistant has Chico State soccer fans buzzing with his exciting brand of aggressive soccer.

The Wildcats open their 2008 home campaign Wednesday at 4:30 against Western Washington University.
