Chico State Athletics

Charlotte Honciano made an immediate impact on the Chico State softball program after transferring from Sacramento City College, becoming one of the Wildcats’ top offensive players during the 2009 and 2010 seasons.

As a senior in 2010, Honciano earned first-team All-CCAA honors while leading Chico State with a .375 batting average. She also set a then-school record with 69 hits, a mark that still ranks among the best single-season totals in program history. She finished her two-year Chico State career with a .314 batting average and 24 stolen bases in 28 attempts.

Honciano played a key role in the Wildcats’ turnaround in 2010, helping Chico State finish 33-21 overall and advance to the NCAA West Super Regional after the team had gone 19-36 the previous season.

Since graduating in 2010, Honciano has built a successful career with Aerotek, where she now serves as a Senior Sales and Business Development Account Manager in Southern California. She continues to stay connected to softball by coaching her daughters, Iliana and Aria, while raising them and her son, Noah, with her partner, Jesus Juarez.
