CHICO, Calif. - Chico State women's golfer Brooke Pelletier has been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Team, recognizing her accomplishments both on the course and in the classroom.
Pelletier earned the distinction for the second consecutive season after establishing herself as one of the Wildcats' top performers while excelling academically throughout her collegiate career. She graduated from Chico State with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology and completed the university's Honors General Education Program.
The CSC Academic All-District® program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. Academic All-District honorees were also considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, with Academic All-America® selections scheduled to be announced July 7.
Pelletier concluded her senior season as Chico State's top-ranked golfer, leading the Wildcats with a 79.6 scoring average across 24 rounds. She ranked No. 155 in the West/South Central Region and No. 506 nationally according to Scoreboard powered by Clippd. She was also the only Wildcat to compete in all 10 tournaments and all 24 rounds during the 2025-26 campaign.
Among her highlights, Pelletier recorded the Wildcats' lone top-10 finish of the season and placed fourth out of 31 competitors at the Chico State Wildcat Invitational. She also posted a career-low round of 74 and a season-best 36-hole score of 152 while compiling a 278-385-16 head-to-head record.
Her success extended beyond competition. Pelletier was the recipient of the CCAA Elite 13 Award at the 2026 CCAA Women's Golf Championships, presented to the student-athlete with the highest grade-point average among championship participants.
Over four seasons with the Wildcats, Pelletier competed in 71 career rounds and steadily improved her scoring average each year. After averaging 87.47 strokes per round as a freshman, she lowered that mark to 79.6 as a senior while becoming one of the program's most consistent competitors and respected leaders.
Pelletier's combination of athletic achievement and academic excellence leaves a lasting legacy within the Chico State women's golf program. As a two-time CSC Academic All-District selection, CCAA Elite 13 Award recipient, and graduate of one of the university's most rigorous academic programs, she exemplified the standard of excellence that defines Chico State student-athletes.
