CHICO, Calif. – The Chico State women's golf team wrapped up the Wildcat Invitational at Butte Creek Country Club on Tuesday, finishing fifth in its home tournament. Senior Brooke Pelletier led the Wildcats, finishing tied for fourth on the leaderboard.
Pelletier posted a two-round total of 156 (+12), including a team-best 77 (+5) in the final round.
Freshman Gabriella Fanucchi recorded the Wildcats' lowest score of the second round with a 76 (+4), finishing tied for ninth to cap a strong first regular season with Chico State.
Sienna Garcia carded an 86 (+14), while Ariana Blagrove followed with an 89 (+17) to round out the Wildcats' scoring.
Sophia Magana posted a 94 (+22) in the final round, finishing the tournament with a 182 (+38).
Competing as individuals, Hollyn Drennen shot an 82 (+10) in the final round to finish tied for 24th, while Lillian Crays placed 26th with a total of 174 (+30).
Chico State women's golf now turns their attention to the 2026 CCAA Women's Golf Championship, set for April 20–22 at The Reserve at Spanos Park in Stockton, hosted by Cal State East Bay.
