GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The Chico State women's golf team wrapped up its 2025–26 season debut Tuesday at the RJGA Shootout at Estrella, finishing 13th in the 14-team field with a two-round total of 639 at the Golf Club of Estrella.

Senior Brooke Pelletier led the Wildcats, following up her opening-round 78 with a second-round 79 to finish at 13-over par 157, good for a tie for 43rd place. Junior Ariana Blagrove and freshman Gabriella Fanucchi each tied for 49th at 160, with Blagrove carding rounds of 76–84 and Fanucchi posting 79–81. Sophomore Sienna Garcia improved on her first round by four strokes with an 80 Tuesday to finish tied for 59th at 164, while junior Lillian Crays closed with an 82 to finish at 166 and tied for 62nd.

Cal State San Marcos captured the team title at 3-over par 579, six strokes clear of Cal State LA. Vanguard University's Theresa Shaw earned medalist honors at 3-under par 141.

Chico State will return to action September 22–23 at the Grisham Memorial Shootout, hosted by Saint Martin's at The Home Course in DuPont, Washington.
