CHICO, Calif. – Five Chico State softball squad members have earned All-CCAA honors following the regular conclusion last weekend. Amelie Valdez, Aiyana Curry, Kennedy Gustin, Hannah Levy, and Kylie Loertscher.

The Wildcats closed out the 2025 campaign on Saturday with a high, splitting their series with the Seawolves with a senior day win.

Amelie Valdez had another solid season in the circle for the Wildcats, concluding the season with a record of 12-10 and a 2.42 ERA after 133.0 innings pitched in his junior season. Valdez ranked seventh in the CCAA with an in-conference ERA of 2.40 and twelve complete games.

Joining the Wildcats this past season, Aiyana Curry stepped into the lineup and has been an offensive weapon for the 'Cats throughout her first season. In her opening season, Curry rounded up a .338 batting average with 49 hits, rounding up 42 RBIs through forty-five games. The sophomore racked up seven home runs and eleven doubles in her 142 plate appearances.

Kennedy Gustin earns All-CCAA Second Team honors in her first season after joining the Wildcats, with a .311 average at the plate and tallying a team-high 50 hits. A utility on defense, Gustin was flexible on the field, with strong defensive plays at second base throughout much of the season.

After posting commendable spring seasons, Kylie Loertscher and Hannah Levy received honorable mention nods from the conference. Loertscher was an incredible addition to the pitching staff for the 'Cats, with four wins on a 2.12 ERA in her first season with Chico State. Levy was .295 at the plate with 49 hits, twenty-nine of those as doubles, with 22 RBIs in her junior season.
