ALISO VIEJO-Coming off perhaps one of the best shooting nights in her collegiate career, Chico State's Kaylie Edge has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 24–30.
Edge went 8-of-9 from the field, and 6-of-7 from 3-point range to score a career-high 23 points and lead the Wildcats to an 83–64 non-conference win over Jessup last Wednesday. The Richmond, Calif., native added seven rebounds, two assists, and a steal throughout the night.
The senior guard's .567 three-point average leads the CCAA and ranks fourth in NCAA Division II.
Edge is the first Wildcat to receive CCAA Player of the Week honors in 2025–26.
Chico State will open CCAA play this week starting Thursday against UC Merced at 5:30 p.m., followed by a Saturday matchup against Stanislaus State at 1 p.m.
