Wildcats Bounce Back with First Win of the Season

Merced, Calif. – The Chico State women's basketball team bounced back Saturday afternoon, earning its first win of the 2025–26 season with a 71–54 victory over Fresno Pacific at the Joseph Edward Gallo Recreation & Wellness Center.

Chico State improved to 1–1 overall, while Fresno Pacific fell to 0–2.

Game Summary
– Chico State got off to a hot start, making a presence in the paint from Aragon and Parry to take a 21–17 first-quarter lead.
– The Wildcats locked down defensively in the second, holding Fresno Pacific to just five points to extend their advantage to 35–22 at the half.
