Reid, Edge Fuel Wildcats to Road Win Over Menlo

ATHERTON, Calif. – Kaylie Edge scored a career-high 19 points and hit six 3-pointers, while Kamil Reid also set personal bests with 15 points and seven rebounds to lead Chico State to a 76–69 road win over Menlo on Saturday afternoon at Haynes-Prim Pavilion.

The Wildcats improve to 2–2 overall with their second straight victory. Menlo, in its second season in NCAA Division II and the PacWest Conference, drops to 1–3.

How it Happened

– Chico State built a 47–24 halftime lead behind 62.5% shooting in the second quarter, including five 3-pointers
– Edge hit back-to-back threes to start the second and capped the quarter with her third of the half
– Menlo rallied within seven in the fourth quarter before a clutch three by Edge helped Chico regain control
– Reid and Parry combined for 11 of Chico's 16 fourth-quarter points
– The Wildcats led for over 33 minutes, including by as many as 25 points in the third quarter
