BROOMFIELD, Colo. – Chico State sophomore Kaylie Parola scored a collegiate career-best 2-over in the second round that helped propel her to 20
th overall Tuesday's finale of the season-opening Swan Memorial hosted by Colorado Christian at The Broadlands.

The Wildcats, as a team, made an improvement between rounds, finishing 25-over par in the second round after finishing 33-over on Monday. They finished the tournament ninth.

Parola had quite a performance in her second loop through The Broadlands, recording three birdies and making par 10 times.

After scoring an 83 on Monday, Trinity Hernandez made an improvement going into Tuesday's second round, scoring a 78 behind a pair of birdies and eight pars. Brooke Pelletier carded an 81 on the day to finish 41
st overall. She came up even in 10 holes, including five straight. Ariana Blagrove scored an 80 to end her day. She started off making par seven times in the front-9 and made a birdie once in the back-9. Alexis Elliot rounded out the Wildcats with an 88 result.

Colorado State Pueblo ended up breaking off from Cal State LA, impressively scoring 1-under as a team to win the tournament. Angelo State's Johanna Ohrling ended up winning medalist after finishing 3-under par in the tournament, beating Alyssa McMillen of Colorado State Pueblo, who led the field going into the second round.

The Wildcats head to Goodyear, Ariz., to participate in the RJGA Shootout at the Golf Club of Estrella starting Monday and concluding Tuesday.
