SANTA ROSA – The Chico State women's golf team closed the fall portion of its 2023-24 season at the Sonoma State Invitational Tuesday. Through their second trip at the 5,890-yard, par-72 Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club, the Wildcats combined a team score of 319, finishing the tournament with a 637 and finishing 10^th in the team leaderboard.
 
Having started from the back-9, Kelly More had the best start, making par in 11 of the first 12 holes she played. She ran into trouble closing out the tournament and went on to finish with an 81 result.
 
Ariana Blagrove had the best turnaround between rounds. After scoring an 82 in the first round, the freshman turned in a 77. She birdied a par-3 sixth hole while coming up even 11 times.
 
Kaylie Parola scored an 80 but made birdies in a par-5 and a par-3. Brook Pelletier recorded an 81 and Trinity Hernandez rounds out Chico State with an 83.
 
The Wildcats will begin the spring segment in February.
