LA JOLLA—It has been a thrilling season of soccer at Chico State so far. And both teams hope the ride is only just getting going. 
 
Chico State's men's and women's teams will begin their postseasons Friday in La Jolla at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament semifinals on the campus of UC San Diego. The Chico State women, ranked No. 24 in the nation following a 10-1-5 regular-season and second-place finish in the CCAA, face Sonoma State at 11 a.m. The Chico State men, 12-4-1 and coming off a third-place finish in the regular-season standings, take on Cal State LA at 4:30 p.m.
