Box Score SAN RAFAEL – Megan Tabler chairs Chico State's Student Athlete Advisory Council's social media efforts. Friday she gave us something to tweet about. Tabler's brace (two goals in a match) lifted the Wildcats to a 2-0 shutout of Dominican University of California. Tweet, tweet!
The win was Chico State's third straight and improved to Wildcats to 3-1-1 on the season.
Tabler scored her first goal of the season in the fifth minute when she collected Katie Brown's deflected pass and deposited it into the back of the net. Brown has an assist in each of the past three matches.

Chico State goalkeeper Brianna Furner and the Wildcats' defense did the rest. The Wildcats allowed only six shots on the day and Furner made four saves for her second shutout in the past three matches. They've outscored the opposition 6-1 during that stretch.
Furner moved into sole possession of second place in Chico State history with her 21
st clean sheet and collected her 31
st career win. She's now just one victory behind Nicole Adams for second in school history.
The win was the 187
th at the NCAA Division II level for Head Coach Kim. With it she passes Bob Russ – the only other coach in Chico State women's soccer history – for 31
st all time.
Chico State will wrap up the non-conference portion of its schedule Sunday at home against third-ranked Cal State Stanislaus at 1 p.m.
