Box Score HAYWARD – They still managed to make it a close match, but this time the Chico State women’s soccer team mustered a win. Scotie Walker scored two first-half goals and the Wildcats held off Cal State East Bay for a 2-1 win Friday night in Hayward, snapping a streak of four straight one-goal losses.
Walker scored an unassisted goal in the fifth minute, finding the back of the net from 10 yards out after Danielle Leiva set her up. The assists were Leiva's second and Berger's first.

The Wildcats held the commanding lead until the 82nd minute when they were whistled for a foul in the box and Shianna Falk drew the Pioneers within a goal.
Cal State East Bay could get no closer, however, as their three shots over the final eight minutes flew wide or were blocked.
