Lisa Webster's on the petite side. She's super quick and most of her goals (she's scored 10 in her career) have come in 1-on-1 situations where she gets beyond the defense. Webster's fourth goal of the season came after Abby Glasgow's centering cross was knocked around in the mix for a moment until freshman Scotie Walker knocked it out to Webster near the top of the box. Her shot was drilled past Lumberjacks goalkeeper Jennie Paugh, who had no opportunity to her her paws on it. Walker's assist was her second of the season.
Chico State improved to 4-3-0 overall and 3-2-0 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) with the win. Humboldt State fell to 1-6-0 overall and 1-4-0 in the CCAA.
The Wildcsats enjoyed a 7-6 advantage in shots. Three of their shots were on frame, while Chico State freshman goalkeeper Sydney Oliver was forced to make just one save for her first collegiate shutout.
