ARCATA - For the second time this season Humboldt State and Chico State played to a scoreless tie, neither team able to break through in a California Collegiate Athletic Association women’s soccer game played Friday.
The Wildcats move to 7-9-3 overall and 3-7-3 in CCAA play, while the Lumberjacks now stand at 8-9-2 overall and 4-7-2 in the CCAA.
Chico’s Natalie Benskey finished the game with five saves and HSU keeper Kelly Sandberg finished with six.
The Lumberjacks outshot the Wildcats 15-11 in the double-overtime match.
The Wildcats wrap up CCAA play with a match against Sonoma State on Sunday.
