Pelletier Caps Off Chico State Career as 2026 CCAA Elite 13 Recipient

| By:

CHICO, Calif. – Chico State senior Brooke Pelletier has been named the 2026 CCAA Women's Golf Elite 13 Award recipient, recognizing her outstanding achievements both in the classroom and on the course.

Pelletier becomes the first Chico State women's golfer to earn the honor since its introduction in 2017 and the second Wildcat student-athlete to receive the award during the 2025–26 academic year.

The Elite 13 Award, formerly the CCAA Championship Scholar Award, recognizes the academic and athletic achievement of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers.

Instituted in 2017-18, the award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the final CCAA championship site in each conference-sponsored sport.

A Chico native, Pelletier has excelled as a double major in microbiology and biochemistry, maintaining an impressive 3.96 cumulative GPA throughout her collegiate career. She joined the Wildcats in 2022 after graduating from Pleasant Valley High School and steadily developed into a key contributor on the course, closing out her collegiate career this past week in Stockton at the 2026 CCAA Tournament.

Over her four seasons, Pelletier lowered her scoring average by more than eight strokes and competed in 71 career rounds. She appeared in all 10 tournaments for Chico State this season and recorded her top finish at the 2026 Wildcat Invitational, placing fourth at Butte Creek Country Club.
