CHICO, Calif. – Five Chico State student-athletes—Jaclyn Denham, Annabelle Low, Megan Malloy, Natalie Muse, and Kendra Pearson—have been named to the 2024–25 Academic All-District Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Team, as announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

The prestigious Academic All-District honor recognizes student-athletes for their excellence both in the classroom and in competition. To qualify, nominees must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher and rank among the top 50 in their region in either cross country or a single track & field event.

Denham, who graduated with honors in Exercise Physiology, is now a two-time Academic All-District honoree. The Ferndale, Washington native competed in both cross country and track & field and earned a top-50 regional ranking in the 5,000 meters.

Low, a junior majoring in Communication Sciences & Disorders, made her mark across multiple disciplines. She finished the season ranked 30th in the West Region in the heptathlon, and also posted top-50 marks in the high jump and javelin throw.

Malloy, a sophomore studying Business Administration, wrapped up the season ranked in the region's top 40 in both the 5,000 and 10,000 meters. She reached the podium in the 10,000 meters at the CCAA Championships and competed in six track & field meets, while also racing once during the cross country season.

Muse, who graduated this spring with honors in Exercise Physiology, posted one of the most versatile seasons in the region. She ranked 15th in the heptathlon, 17th in the long jump, 19th in the 100-meter hurdles, and 35th in the triple jump.

Pearson, a two-time Academic All-District selection, is currently pursuing her master's degree in Language Teaching while maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA. She was ranked 17th in the high jump and competed in nine meets during the 2025 season.
