Busy ‘Cats Rack Up Points at Kim Duyst Invitational

TURLOCK – The Chico State men's track & field team was at full force Friday and Saturday as they got decent weather at Stanislaus State's Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium for the Kim Duyst Invitational.
 
Eighteen events were on the schedule and Chico State saw 15 individuals/groups make the podium all while collecting 183.33 points to dominate the meet. Fresno Pacific took second with 144 points while the host Warriors to third with 118 points.
 
Of the nine podium appearances, Gavin Binning was the only individual to take first at an event, winning the long jump with a reach of 6.91 meters. The relay team of Calvin Igbanoi, Demetre Coffey, Trey Suffredini and Vincent Rinaldi took the 4x400m victory at 3:23.41.
