CHICO, Calif. - The Wildcats may have hung up the boots for the season, but their success from the season is still being showered with respect from the west region. Emanuel Padilla, Miles Rice, and Preston Moll claim D2CCA All-West Region honors. Padilla and Moll are repeat award winners from the previous season.

Chico State boasted the most athletes from any CCAA conference school on the list, with Cal State LA, CSUDH, Cal Poly Pomona, CSU Monterey Bay, and Cal State San Marcos all having players honored.

Miles Rice and Emanuel Padilla were the two first-team honorees; Preston Moll earned second-team as a defender.

Emanuel Padilla was the CCAA Goalkeeper of the Year after picking up six shutouts on 61 saves. The senior goalkeeper from Santa Rosa was a dominant force in goal for the Wildcats, with a 0.85 GAA, the 16th-best average in the nation.

A CCAA All-Conference First Team honoree, Padilla has been a pivotal part of Wildcat's success over the last two years. With a second straight solid season under his belt, he becomes the Chico State men's soccer career GAA leader with a career average of 0.75 GAA.

Miles Rice earns his first time on the D2CCA All-West Region team after a new career-best season after scoring 13 with a single assist in his senior season. The Cameron Park native was a danger to any defense he faced, claiming five game-winners alongside three braces (2 goals in one game) in his final season.

A CCAA All-Conference First Team selection, Rice finished second in the conference in goals scored and points (27).

The final award winner is a repeat name on the list, senior Preston Moll, who claimed Second Team honors following another season on the backline for the Wildcats. With three goals and three assists as the left fullback, Moll was dangerous on both sides of the field—his dangerous crosses with the left foot spelled trouble for opponents' defenses.

A Cameron Park native, Moll scored all three goals from free-kick opportunities, refusing to allow a wall to stop him from blasting it into the net on multiple occasions.
