The California Collegiate Athletic Association's coaches acknowledged the Chico State baseball team's awesome offensive output by selecting seven of the team's nine regular starters for All-CCAA recognition Wednesday. The conference honors were announced on the eve of the CCAA Tournament, taking place Wednesday through Friday at Nettleton Stadium on the Chico State campus.
Willie Lajoie is the Wildcats' lone First Team All-CCAA selection; Jacob Jablonski, Jeffrey Ray, Kyle Dobson, Grady Morgan, and Jack Murphy were all named Second Team All-CCAA; and Jarret Lindsay is an honorable mention selection.

The Wildcats are the No. 3 seed in the six-team tournament. Cal State Dominguez Hills is No. 6. The winner of that game will take on Cal Poly Pomona Thursday at 3 p.m. in the second game of what turns into a four-team, double-elimination tournament following Wednesday's matchups. No. 4 seed Sonoma State and No. 5 seed Cal State San Bernardino will square off Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the other opening-day elimination game.
