The Chico State women's track & field team made quite an impression in Sacramento at last weekend's Hornet Invitational, racking up a huge string of personal best and season-high marks. The Wildcats enjoyed their time in the state capital so much, they're back in Sactown this Thursday and Friday to compete in the Jamie Nieto Invitational, taking place at Hughes Stadium on the campus of Sacramento City College.

Fans can follow the meet results online through the Wildcat Athletics website.

Chico State will feature 29 athletes competing in 14 events Thursday and Friday, spotlighting the team's talented array of sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers and throwers. Â
A light event schedule Thursday will see Taylor Nevitt, Michelle Flint, Alana Ochoa, and Kyndall Vargas competing for the 'Cats in the hammer throw beginning at 4 p.m.
