Chico State offers multitude of summer camps for kids

Summer options include baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball

With schools out for the summer, children have the chance get out of the house and into a sport—or perhaps sports. Chico State offers several options for sports camps in the summer months for a variety of ages and skill levels with all of the camps including instruction from Wildcat coaches and athletes.

Here is a list of sports camps available listed alphabetically by sport and then by date:
 
Baseball
June 11-14: The first baseball youth camp runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day Monday through Thursday at Nettleton Stadium.
July 9-12: The second baseball youth camp runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day Monday through Thursday at Nettleton Stadium.
 
Basketball
June 11-14: The men's basketball youth camp designed for boys and girls is at Acker Gym and runs Monday through Thursday with hours 9 a.m. to noon for Junior Wildcats (ages 8-13) and 1-3 p.m. for Future Wildcats (ages 5-7).
 
Soccer
June 11-14: The men's soccer youth camp runs 8:30 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday at University Track & Field Stadium.
June 18-21: The women's soccer youth camp runs 8:30 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday at University Track & Field Stadium.
June 25-28: The second men's soccer youth camps runs 8:30 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday at University Track & Field Stadium.
Aug. 6-9: The second women's soccer youth camp runs 8:30 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday at University Soccer Stadium.
 
Volleyball
June 18-21: The volleyball youth camp runs 1-3 p.m. for Junior Diggers (ages 4-7) and 1-4 p.m. for the Youth Skills Camp (ages 8-14) on Monday through Thursday at Acker Gym.
July 9-12: The overnight camp for junior high and high school athletes runs Monday through Thursday at Acker and Shurmer gyms.
