The preseason favorites in the North and South Divisions of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) – Chico State and Cal Poly Pomona – will meet for an important three-game baseball series Saturday and Sunday in Pomona.
First pitch on Saturday is set for 12 p.m. with the second game starting shortly after the conclusion of game one. Sunday's series finale is set to being at 12 p.m. All three games will be broadcast locally on AM-1290 KPAY and online. Chico State, ranked No. 28 in the nation, is 27-11 overall and 14-9 in conference play. The Wildcats trail Cal State Monterey Bay by percentage points in the race for the North Division title.
Cal Poly Pomona is 22-12 overall and leads the South Division by two games with a conference record of 14-8.
