Can final road trip of the year produce a pair of Wildcat wins?

Chico State in southern California to take on Cal State L.A. and Dominguez Hills

CHICO – The Chico State volleyball team has not enjoyed a whole lot of success on the road this season, dropping eight of 12 decisions away from Acker Gym. The Wildcats would like nothing better than using their final road trip of the year to humble a pair of home teams, and they get their chance this weekend when the 'Cats battle Cal State L.A. Friday and Cal State Dominguez Hills on Saturday. Both matches get underway at 7 p.m.

Chico State heads down to southern California 11-11 overall and alone in seventh place in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) with a 9-9 conference record. The Wildcats took two out of three on its just-concluded homestand – after splitting matches with Humboldt State and Cal State San Bernardino over the weekend, the Wildcats rolled to a four-set win over Cal State Stanislaus Tuesday night at Acker Gym.
