Wildcats take Dominguez Hills in three straight

CARSON, Calif. - Wildcat freshman Makenzie Snyder led all players with 12 kills in Chico State's 3-0 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills to kick off the team's second Southern California roadtrip in two weeks. Snyder hit at a .346 clip, with three errors in 26 attempts, as the Wildcats improved to 9-6 overall, 2-3 in CCAA play.

The tougher of Chico State's two match-ups this weekend comes on Saturday when the Wildcats take on No. 22 Cal State L.A..

Game scores against the Toros were 26-24, 25-17, and 25-19, leaving Dominguez Hills (1-12, 0-5) still searching for its first conference victory.

Setter Erica Brick led the team with 14 digs and recorded 30 assists in the match. Lindsay Macias tallied 10 digs to go along with six kills and middle hitter Crystal Trifeletti notched nine kills.

The Wildcats hit just .079 in the first set, but bumped up the number to .324 and .306 in sets two and three, respectively.

Dominguez Hills was led by Madison Horsley's seven kills and 10 digs.
