ARCATA  - Lindsay Macias recorded a match-high 13 kills and also had 13 digs to lead the Chico State volleyball team to a three-game sweep of Humboldt State on Saturday night in Arcata, 25-19, 25-20, 25-20. It was the second shutout of the Lumberjacks by the Wildcats this season.

Chico State now stands at 15-7 overall, 8-4 in CCAA play. Humboldt State drops to 7-12, 5-7 in conference play.

Kelly Smiland added nine kills and eight digs for Chico State, and Makenzie Snyder, Megan Cape and Amy Jones added six kills apiece. Erica Brick had 39 assists for the Wildcats.

Chico State returns home to host four matches over the next two weekends, beginning with #23 Cal Poly Pomona and #3 Cal State San Bernardino next Friday and Saturday, respectively.
