Wildcats’ starting point guard Synchro Bull continued her outstanding sophomore season last week, helping Chico State split a pair of road contests to stay in the thick of the CCAA conference race. Bull averaged 12 points, three rebounds, three assists, and 1.5 steals per game to earn Wildcat of the Week honors.
Thursday against UC San Diego, Bull scored a team-high 13 points on 5-of-11 shooting and added two rebounds, one assist and a steal in the Wildcats’ 75-62 loss to 7th-ranked Tritons.
Saturday versus Cal State East Bay, Bull – an Oakland native – returned to her Bay Area roots and was one of four Chico State players in double figures, scoring 11 points as the Wildcats defeated the host Pioneers 78-60. In addition to contributing four rebounds, five assists, two steals and a blocked shot, Bull was a perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line.
She currently ranks second in the CCAA in assists, averaging 3.7 a game, and in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.5).
