Speedy senior forward Molly McFadden assisted on three goals, including a pair of game winners, as the Wildcats strengthened their hold on first place in the CCAA North Division and moved into the national rankings at No. 24 with a 2-0-1 week. For her efforts, McFadden has been honored as Wildcat of the Week.
McFadden, enjoying her fifth season in the program, is primed for her best season yet. The product of Stockton (Tokay HS) notched the first multi-assist match of her career last Wednesday against Cal State Stanislaus. Both assists were huge, the first tying the match and the second winning it.
Sunday, against 12th-ranked UC San Diego, McFadden assisted on Lisa Webster's goal to break a scoreless tie in the 71st minute. The Wildcats went on to win 2-0.
