Olivia Watt has enjoyed many memorable afternoons competing for the Chico State women's track & field team – but the junior middle distance runner delivered perhaps her most dominating performances to date last weekend at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival and Stanford Invitational. Watt broke her own school record in the 800-meter run, posted a pair of NCAA Provisional qualifying marks and was part of the third-fastest 4x400-relay team in Chico State history. Small wonder Watt is the latest Wildcat of the Week.

Watt kicked off her productive weekend Friday at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival, posting a third place finish in the 1,500-meter run with an NCAA Provisional time of 4:29.62. The effort is the second-fastest time for a CCAA runner in the event this season.

It was more of the same at Saturday's Stanford Invitational. Watt registered the fastest CCAA time this season and another NCAA Provisional mark in the 800-meter run, breaking her own school record at 2:10.87. Watt wrapped up her sensational weekend by teaming with Bailey Henshaw, Aja Erskine and Marina Berrios to notch a time of 3:50.49 in the 4x400-meter relay, placing the quartet third on Chico State's all-time 4x4 list.

Watt and the Chico State women's track & field team are back in action this weekend, hosting the Chico Distance Carnival Friday and the Chico Twilight Invitational on Saturday.
