Chico State midfielder Tyson Crim cruises all over the pitch. He causes fits for the defense on one end and then cripples the opposing offense on the other. The senior from Boise, Idaho, may not be the men's soccer team's leading scorer and he may not get credit in the headlines for the Wildcats' defensive prowess. But Head Coach Felipe Restrepo would defy anyone who claims that Crim isn't the best player on the pitch.

He's also this week's male Wildcat of the Week.

Friday's 2-1 win at Cal State San Bernardino exemplified Crim's skill set. He didn't score, but he set up one of the Wildcats' two penalty kicks by drawing a penalty in the box. Crim cut around a defender near the end line and was tackled from behind in the 74th minute.  

Crim, who ranks 10th in Chico State history with 15 career assists, led the Wildcats to a 13-3-2 regular season record and into the CCAA Championship Tournament for the fourth straight season.

He's scored two goals – both game winners – and dished out two assists this season after sitting out 2012 with an injury.
