Nick Tedrow's teammates wouldn't let him hear the end of it. Even his first goal of the season went off the post. It's safe to say the hard-luck midfielder didn't care how his header found the back of the net. He was simply relieved it did. Tedrow, who has hit the frame on countless occasions this season, finally broke through for his first goal of the season Sunday. He also chipped in an assist to earn Wildcat of the Week honors.
Tedrow scored the game-winning goal in the 62nd minute, banging a header off the post and into the goal to lift the Wildcats to a 2-1 victory at Humboldt State. He assisted on the Wildcats' first goal in predictable fashion, banging a shot off the post that Tyson Crim rebounded back into the net.
Tedrow, in his third season in the program, has now amassed four goals and four assists in his career.
