Junior jumper Julianne Conrad recorded two strong performances in last weekend’s UC Davis Classic, setting a new personal record in the triple jump and posting a top five finish in the high jump. Conrad’s efforts have earned the native of Lake Forest her first-ever Wildcat of the Week award.

In a 20-person field, Conrad posted her fifth place finish in the high jump with a leap of 1.58 meters (5-feet-2.25). But her high point came in the triple jump – finishing ninth in a field that featured several Division I athletes, Conrad delivered a jump of 11.24 meters (36-feet-10.5), bettering her previous Wildcat career high by over two feet and securing the eighth longest triple jump in Chico State history.
