CHICO, Calif. – Chico State jumped out early and controlled the first half on the way to a 65–55 CCAA home win over Cal State East Bay on Saturday afternoon, securing a spot in the CCAA Tournament with the victory.
Chico State (18–6, 14–4 CCAA) built an 18-point halftime cushion behind balanced scoring and strong work inside, then weathered a fourth-quarter push from East Bay (9–16, 8–10 CCAA) to close out the victory.
