SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Chico State volleyball team rallied from a two-set deficit to stun Cal State San Marcos 3–2 (18–25, 19–25, 25–21, 25–16, 15–9) Saturday afternoon at The Sports Center. The comeback marked the first time since 2022 that the Wildcats have dropped the opening two sets and gone on to win a match.
After struggling to find rhythm early, Chico State hit .314 or better in each of the final three sets to complete the turnaround. The Wildcats improved to 10–13 overall and 6–10 in the CCAA, while San Marcos fell to 4–20 overall and 3–13 in conference play.
