Personal
- Born October 7 in Chico
- Parents are Paul and Danielle
- Stepfather is Brian
- Has two sisters, Jenna and Amy
- Has one brother, Ryan
- Her hero is her former coach at American River College, Carson Lowden, because 'she carries herself so well in ever changing circumstances, and always sees the good in others. She wants what is best for anyone she meets and pushes people to strive and become their best self. I look up to her and want to push myself to be more like her in the future.'
- Admires athletes who are working to better themselves. 'I wouldn't say that it goes for all athletes, but the people who are doing what they love and doing it for the other people on their team.'
- Chose Chico State to be closer to home. 'I grew up in Chico and felt like I was missing so many things being away. I wanted a chance to reconnect with those things, and I also wanted to continue my athletic career and my academic in a place I know will support me well.'
- When asked about her greatest moment in sports thus far, she said it 'would have to be winning the Big 8 pairs tournament for beach in 2024. My beach partner and I had our second season and last season together, and we grew so much from the first season together. We trusted each other with everything we had and pushed each other to do better, while also supporting each other in any and all circumstances. Winning that tournament felt like a huge achievement for us.'
- Outside of sports, she said 'maintaining and balancing my life and time when I am doing sports, school, working, and doing long distance relationships. I have been able to set myself up for success these past few years, and I am really proud of how I have carried myself through it all.'
- Other than sports, her best talent is being a good listener. 'I want to be the person others can go to when they need someone to depend upon.'
- Used to play the piano as a youngster for eight year
- During her free time she enjoys being with friends and family, take her dogs on a hike, go to the lake, watch a show or write in a journal
- On her 'bucket list' is 'to be able to to support myself financially and support others around me emotionally.'
- An interesting thing about her is 'I want to have five - if not more - dogs when I get older and have more time to take care of them.'
- On the best advice she received, she said 'Play to play, and do to do. My previous coach told me this. You are not playing to get play time or trophies or recognition. You are playing because it is something that you want to be a part of. The team and the culture the experiences and all of it. Supporting others who play over you is a big part of that. Doing things simply because you love them.'
- Majoring in Kinesiology
