SANTA ROSA – The Chico State women's golf team returned to action for the second time in the autumn portion of the 2023-24 season, participating in the Sonoma State Fall Invitational Monday.

The Wildcats got a sneak peak of the site of the upcoming CCAA Golf Championships in April, playing the 5,890-yard, par-72 Santa Rosa Golf and Country Club.

After one round of play, Chico State combined a score of 318 and sits ninth with the next round to be played Tuesday.

Brooke Pelletier led the effort on the course for the Wildcats, scoring a 5-over 77. She made a birdie on a par-5 11
th hole and had made 11 birdies.

Kaylie Parola finished behind Pelletier with a 78. She made a birdie on a par-4 on the 14
th hole and logged in 11 times. Trinity Hernandez scored an 81, Ariana Blagrove had an 82 and Kelly More rounded out the Wildcats with an 83.
