BANDON, Ore. – Kevin Rei made his afternoon more interesting than he wanted it to be. Brandon Gama is happy to be on the bubble. Rei finished his second round of stroke play at Tuesday's US Amateur Public Links Championship with a 6-over par second nine to slip from the top 10 into the mid-50s. The top 64 players will advance to match play, which begins Wednesday. Gama began the day in a tie for 76th but moved into contention with a solid 2-over par front nine.
