Three Chico State runners post top 20 efforts in Davis

DAVIS – Eight members of the Chico State women’s cross country team were in Davis Saturday competing in the final non-championship event of the season, and thanks to their solid efforts, the Wildcats fared very well at the UC Davis-hosted Doc Adams Invitational, posting a third place finish in the teams standings, with three runners – Jessie Varela, Brooke Bergesen and Sara Mikesell – finishing in the individual top 20.

Chico State finished behind only Stanford and UC Davis in the team point standings.
