The Chico State golf team finished the fall ranked No. 8 in the nation in the Golfstat NCAA Division II head-to-head rankings and the Golf World/Nike Golf Coaches' Poll. The Wildcats won the Sonoma State Invitational, finished third twice, fifth once, and sixth once in six fall tournaments.

Junior transfer Brandon Harkins finished the fall with a team-low stroke average of 71.9 and a pair of top-five finishes. Freshman Kyle Souza averaged 72.4 strokes in 14 rounds, while Lucas Delgado averaged 72.5 and finished in the top five twice. Senior Kevin Horan won medalist honors at the Sonoma State Invitational and boasts a stroke average of 73.6.

South Carolina-Aiken sits atop both national rankings. Chico State's CCAA rival Sonoma State is ranked No. 3 in the Golfstat rankings and No. 4 in the Coaches' Poll.

The Wildcats will return to action in the spring at the Bakersfield Invitational on Feb, 23-24.
