STOCKTON, Calif. – The Chico State men's golf team concluded its season Saturday with a tie for 11th place at the 2026 NCAA Division II South Central/West Super Regional.

Western Washington claimed the team title, while Cal State East Bay, Cal State San Marcos and Cal State San Bernardino secured national qualifying berths from the West Region. West Texas A&M and Colorado Christian advanced out of the South Central Region.

Chico State entered the final round in fourth place, but challenging conditions and high winds led to a difficult finish, as the Wildcats posted a final-round team score of 872 (+16).

Naoki Easterday led the Wildcats in his final collegiate event, finishing tied for eighth with a 214 (-2) tournament total after carding a 74 (+2) in the final round.

Freshman Vineet Vallamsetty finished tied for 42nd with a 78 (+6), while fellow freshman Ty Weaver posted a 77 (+5) in the final round.

Giuseppe Aliotti carded a 75 (+3) to finish tied for 73rd with a 224 (+8) total, and Alex LemMon rounded out the Wildcats' lineup with an 80 (+10), finishing tied for 100th.
