All-American and two-time All-West Region selection Kelley Sullivan is having his best season yet as a senior. Ranked seventh in the nation and first in the West Region in the Golfstat Division II player rankings, Sullivan finished the regular season with nine top-20 finishes in the nine tournaments the 5th-ranked Wildcats have participated in. He's finished among the top five in five of them.

When Sullivan is in the zone, he's very tough to beat. But even when he is not on his "A game," he finds a way to compete with those who are. The Sammamish, Washington, product is 8-3 this season when going head-to-head with another player ranked in the nation's top 25. And he's unbeaten (38-0) against players ranked No. 26-100.

Sullivan tied for 11th in the 120-player field at the Mustang Intercollegiate at Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Arizona, last week. The Wildcat of the Week carded rounds of 69, 70, and 72 to help lead the Wildcats to a third-place finish, lowering his season stroke average to 71.16.

No Wildcat since NCAA Champion Kyle Souza, in 2011–12, has completed a season with a stroke average under 72.

Sullivan and the Wildcats now set their sights on the postseason, which opens with the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships April 23–24. Sullivan finished second to lead the Wildcats to victory in the stroke play portion of last year's event. In medal-match play, he won his semifinal match by six strokes and then won by seven shots in the final to lead the Wildcats to the conference title.
