The Chico State men's basketball team boasts several players that can fill up the stat sheet, but junior guard Robert Duncan is the Wildcat that truly racks up the points in lightning fashion. The native of Granite Bay needed just 26 minutes to post his career scoring high to start the week, then contributed in several areas of the 'Cats' attack in the team's weekend split at the Mac Martin Invitational. His all-around contributions made Duncan the clear choice for Wildcat of the Week.
 
Duncan averaged 14.7 points a game over the Wildcats' three contests, shooting nearly 47 percent from the field (14-of-30) and over 62 percent (5-of-8) from behind the 3-point line. He also piled up 14 rebounds, dished out 13 assists and grabbed nine steals as Chico State went 2-1 on the week.    
 
Duncan was unstoppable Tuesday against Academy of Art, nailing four 3-pointers on the way to a career-high 29 points in the Wildcats' 81-67 victory over the Urban Knights. Duncan handed out a team-high five assists in the 'Cats' loss to Seattle Pacific Friday, but came back Saturday to score 13 points, haul in six rebounds and post three steals in just 25 minutes of action as Chico State bested Simpson University 68-55 to improve to 4-1 on the season.
 
Duncan is currently fifth in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) in scoring, averaging 17.8 points a game and better than 26 points per 40 minutes. He also ranks in the top 10 among conference players in steals (10) and assists (18).
 
Duncan and the Wildcats see their first CCAA action of the season this Friday and Saturday, as the team heads to the Bay Area to battle San Francisco State and Cal State East Bay.
