Personal
- Born December 29, 2001, in Reno, Nevada
- Daughter of Anthony and Julie
- Has one older sister, Ashlyn, who is also her hero (“I have had the opportunity to see her take on the world in ways that I never could have imagined. She constantly shows me how to be unapologetic about who I am and what I want to do. There is not a day that goes by that I don't want to brag about all of her accomplishments and make her as proud of me as I am of her”
- The person she most admires in the sports world is Simone Biles (“Not only is what she does hands down amazing, but in the Tokyo Olympics she showed the world that there are things more important than just competing in your sport, and that your mental health should be a top priority”)
- Favorite course at Chico State is Food and Film, and her favorite instructor is Dr. Susan Wiesinger
- Why she chose to attend Chico State: “From the very first moment I visited it felt like home. I love the fact that I am not far from my hometown so friends and family can visit often. When I committed to Chico I did not fully understand the strength of the Wildcat Family, but even after just one somewhat normal year I have been able to see the scope to which we are and I couldn't be more excited for my second season here and another confirmation that I truly found my home”
- Her greatest sports moment was as a softball player, winning the Triple Crown World Series
- The most interesting thing she’s ever done is travel to travel to Portugal by herself to visit her sister (“Getting to experience life in another country is always eye-opening, and doing it solo allowed me to feel the greater presence of the world”)
- The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is “deciding to continue my volleyball career at Chico State”
- Has learned by playing volleyball that “you cannot control everything in life, and you need to sometimes rely on others to help lift you up and continue pushing forward”
- Always looks forward to surrounding herself with “my people” and just enjoying the good times
- Loves standup comedy “and I hope to one day do it myself. A dream would be to host Saturday Night Live
- At the top of her bucket list: “Seeing the pyramids in Egypt”
- Best advice ever received came from her favorite movie, Mr. Nobody: “Every path in life is the right path”
- Majoring in political science and legal studies
- Plans on utilizing her paralegal certificate and find her footing in the legal world before possibly attending law school.
