One of 15 true Wildcat freshmen…Pre-Chico Days: A 2020 graduate of Sheldon High School in Sacramento…Earned four varsity letters…All-Delta League selection…Received the league’s Sportsmanship Award…Named the Huskies’ Most Valuable Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year…Also lettered in cross country…Personal: Born May 15, 2002, in Sacramento…Daughter of Anthony and Michelle…Has three older siblings: Jessica, Michaela, and Kassidy…The person she most admires in the sports world is Carli Lloyd (“because she is a consistent leader for the U.S. national team. She is dedicated, hard-working, and fearless on the field, which can only mean she is like that off the field as well”)…Why she chose to attend Chico State: “I love the campus, and the soccer program’s family atmosphere”…Her greatest sports moment was scoring her team’s only goal against its second straight tough opponent at the 2019 Elite Clubs National League playoffs…The most interesting thing she’s ever done is help coach an under-8 girls soccer academy at San Juan Soccer Club (“I got the chance to use my own skills to help the girls grow and develop as players and people”)…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is becoming a Chico State athlete…Has learned by playing soccer that “Lack of effort is no one else’s fault but your own”…Enjoys hiking, reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family when she has some free time…Loves digital and analog photography…Likes driving manual cars…At the top of her bucket list: “Swim in all of the Seven Seas”…Best advice ever received came from her grandpa Woody: “Don’t sweat the small stuff, and it’s mostly small stuff”…Majoring in exercise physiology…Plans to pursue a career as a physical therapist.
