Riley Riordan

Riley Riordan is in her second season as part of the Chico State women’s soccer coaching staff. In her first year alongside Wildcats head coach Kim Sutton, Riordan played an integral role in the ’Cats posting an 8-8-2 record in 2019.  
 
Prior to joining the Wildcats, Riordan served for one season as an assistant coach at Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana. She helped the Panthers post a 12-5-1 record in 2017 and a berth in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament.
 
Riordan entered the coaching ranks on the heels of a college career that saw the California native star in goal for DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. In two seasons, she racked up 21 wins and 10 shutouts and helped the Tigers win the 2015 North Coast Athletic Conference championship. Riordan earned Second Team All-NCAC honors as a senior. She also saw action as a freshman at Division I Northern Illinois University in 2013.
 
Riordan was a prep star at St. Louis Park High School in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. A two-time North Suburban League selection, she served as team captain during her senior season and was named the Orioles’ MVP.
 
Riordan earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from DePauw University in 2017.
