One of three true freshmen on the Wildcats’ roster…Pre-Chico Days: A 2021 graduate of Folsom High School…Led the Bulldogs to a pair of Sierra Foothill League championships…Named First Team All-State and Sacramento Bee All-Metro as a freshman in 2017–18…Averaged 13.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 3.3 steals while connecting for 41 3-pointers as a junior in 2019–20, earning First Team All-SFL and First Team All-Sac Joaquin Section honors for the third straight season…Scored over 1,000 points during her prep career…Personal: Born October 14, 2002, in Citrus Heights…Daughter of Goldie Gallegos…Has six siblings: Joshua, Faith, Lincoln, Hope, Eljay, and Isaac…Her sister Hope is her hero (“She has always been there for me since our childhood, supported me through rough times, and helped me become the person I am today”)…The person she most admires in the sports world is Kobe Bryant (“because of his work ethic, passion for basketball, and IQ for the game”)…Why she chose to attend Chico State: “The first time coming on a visit with Coach Fogel, I fell in love with the campus and immediately felt comfortable because he let me know that he supported me for more than just basketball, and would be there for me in the long run.
