Transfer from Cowley College in Arkansas City, Kansas…Pre-Chico Days: Batted .296 with seven home runs, 36 runs batted in, and 15 stolen bases in 2021, helping lead the Tigers to the Junior College World Series…Began his college career at Grossmont College in El Cajon…Hit .299 as a freshman…A 2019 graduate of San Pasqual High School in Escondido…Batted .344 and stole 54 bases in four varsity seasons…Led the Golden Eagles to the 2018 CIF San Diego Section Division IV championship…All-Valley League selection as a senior…Also lettered in basketball…Personal: Born September 29, 2000, is San Diego…Son of former major leaguer Damian and Tana…Has three younger siblings: Jonah, Jaylah, and Jameson…His dad is his hero (“He makes me strive to be my best self”)…The person he most admires in the sports world is Mike Tyson (“because he defied the odds he was given”)…Why he chose to attend Chico State: “The great baseball program and great coaching”…His greatest sports moment was going to the 2021 Junior College World Series…The most interesting thing he’s ever done is lead his San Pasqual High School team to a CIF championship…The most impressive thing he’s ever accomplished is hitting four home runs in two days…Has learned by playing baseball that “whether you tell yourself you can or you can’t do something, you’re probably right”…Enjoys reading when he has some free time…Says basketball is his biggest talent outside of baseball…At the top of his bucket list: “Travel to 15 countries”…Majoring in business.
