2019–20
Ran in just one meet during the 2019 cross country season, placing 75th November 17th at the PAUSATF Championships with a 9.75k time of 35:55…On the oval, competed in the 5,000m run March 7, 2020 at the Kim Duyst Invitational, but did not finish…Earned 2019–20 CCAA All-Academic honors…Received Division II Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award.
2018–19
Raced sparingly during an injury/sickness-riddled freshman year…Placed 216th at the Capital Cross Invitational…In his only spring track appearance, finished 225th in the 5,000m run at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic…Earned 2018–19 CCAA All-Academic honors.
Pre-Chico Days
A four-year cross country runner at Maria Carrillo High School in Santa Rosa…Was a member of a Pumas XC squad that won three straight North Bay League titles and the 2017 North Coast Section championship… Earned Second Team All-Redwood Empire Cross Country honors as a senior…Named All-Redwood Empire Honorable Mention in 2015 and 2016…Recorded a 15:13 3-mile PR at the Woodbridge with a sixth place finish at the NBL Championships…On the track, struggled with illness and injury throughout his career…Ran a 9:37 3,200m PR as a sophomore…Clocked a 4:31 PR in the 1,600 during the same sophomore season…Delivered a second place performance as a senior in the NBL Championships’ 3,200m run.
