Pre-Chico Days
Lettered in cross country, track, and football at Paradise High School…Led the Bobcats to three league titles…Competed in four CIF State XC Championships…Won the 2019 West Side League Championship with a three-mile time of 16:39…On the track, helped set a new North Section record in the 4x400m relay (3:19.86)…Earned All-Section honors in the 800m run.

Born December 7, 2000, in Chico…Son of William Roehling…Has one older brother, Landon…Why he chose to attend Chico State: “I wanted to stay local for college, and I thought that it would be a good place for some self discovery to occur. Also, a large component of my choice had to do with the fact that the running program here is very good”…His greatest sports moment was running the 4x4 at the California State Champs in 2019 (“I ran fasted on that track than I ever had run a 400 before…I saw some crazy improvement in myself that day”)…The most interesting thing he’s ever done is “ride a foldable bicycle down a mud hill only to eat it face-first into a pile of mud. It was one of the dumbest things I have ever done”…Has learned by running cross country that “you have got to keep consistent and trust in your coaching”…Enjoys eating and relaxing when he has some free time…Says one of his biggest talents is “my ability to succeed if I put my mind to it”…Has a weakness for eggnog…At the top of his bucket list: “Making a name for myself at Chico State”…Majoring in biochemistry.
